“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” – Elliott Erwitt

Black and White.

I’ve been seeing these absolutely amazing black and white images everywhere lately and I'm slowly falling in love. I absolutely love color, especially big bright eyes with amazing catchlights but there’s something about black and white that's timeless. The kind of timeless that withstands trends and the latest fashions. A good black and white image will be as appealing 25 years from now as it is today. And I love that!

I’ve been processing some recent images into black and white and it's harder and more complicated than you would think. Tip – remember to bump up the contrast!! It really does make a difference.
